The Department of Handicrafts and Handloom on Thursday conducted an exhibition cum awareness for on spot registration of artisans from Arin Sumlar and other adjacent areas.The camp was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Handicrafts Training Officer (AHTO) Mohammad Ibrahim Gillo. DDC member Arin, Gh Mohi u din was also present on the occasion.

AHTO and Supervisor/Auditor INDUSCOS, Gulzar Ahmad provided complete awareness of schemes of the Department available for artisans and weavers.Craft Instructor, Shaikh Shahid and Mushtaq Akbar conducted on spot practical test of artisans seeking registration and registered 15 Artisans during the camp.

Stalls with different handmade products were displayed by the Department and its cooperatives during the exhibition.
