The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah today conducted surprise visit to Government Middle school (GMS) Babadaryadin to inspect its functioning and found three teachers unauthorizedly absent from the duties.

Taking serious note of such absenteeism, the ADC directed the Chief Education Officer Ganderbal to issue show cause notice to the absentee teachers and initiate disciplinary action against them under rules.In order to ensure punctuality of employees in Government offices in the district, the ADC maintained that such surprise inspections of various offices across the district would be taken on a regular basis.

He further added that strict action under law would be taken against such employees who show dereliction towards their legitimate duties.
