Chairperson DDC Rajouri kick starts BT work on Kotedhera-Panihad road

District Development Council Chairperson, Chowdhary Naseem Liyaqat today kick started BT work on Kotedhera to Panihad road.Among the others present on the occasion were Executive Engineer PMGSY Budhal, Imtiaz Mir; AE, Altaf Mir and other officers.

The Executive Engineer PMGSY Budhal informed that the 7.5 KM road has been constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 580.67 lakh.“The project has benefited  nearly ten thousand souls. The blacktopping work on the road was pending which has been started today” he added.

Interacting with the locals, the DDC Chairman congratulated the public and said that roads make a crucial contribution towards economic development and growth and bring much needed social benefits.The Chairman asked the concerned officer from the PMGSY to complete the blacktopping work on the road at the earliest.

He also asked them to maintain quality while executing the work on the project and undertake regular field visits to monitor the progress on the project.
