Under the aegis of NALSA and on the directions of   Sonia Gupta, Chairman, DLSA, Samba (also Pr. District and Sessions Judge Samba), District Legal Services Authority, Samba today organised a debate competition on the theme “Role of Internet in students’ life” in collaboration with Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Vijaypur.

The debate competition was judged by a jury comprising  Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Samba, Fateh Singh, Principal of Govt. Hr. Sec. School Vijaypur Samba and Panel Advocate  Hitesh Sharma.

Certificates of Merit were presented to the First, Second and third winners namely Sunaina Verma, Udhay Bhaskar and Anuradha Sharma respectively.Certificates of Appreciation were also given to all participants.

Ms. Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Samba, while addressing the participants, informed them about the working of District Legal Services Authority, Samba and the objective of organizing this competition in their school.

The proceedings of the programme was conducted by Panel Advocate , Hitesh Sharma under the supervision of Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Samba and vote of thanks was conveyed by   Fateh Singh, Principal of Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Vijaypur Samba.

Meanwhile,  to mark “National Children’s Day” the DLSA, in collaboration with members of Child Welfare Committee, Samba visited  slum areas at 17 Miles whereat  Secretary District Legal Services Authority Samba, Panel Advocate  Versha Anthal and members of Child Welfare Committee Samba Namisha Rajput and Vidhi Dubey etc. distributed the food kits among the children of slum area.

Besides, the PLVs of District Legal Services Authority Samba also observed National Children’s Day at different places and spread awareness about child rights.
