Chief Education Officer Udhampur, Arvin Kumar Koul reviewed the functioning of Government schools and discussed the issues of the department with the Principals, Zonal Education Officers and Headmasters in two phase meeting held at Government Girls High School Udhampur.

On the first day, the morning session was attended by all Principals and Zonal Education officers of the District and the evening session was attended by all Headmasters of Zone Kulwanta, Panchari, Babey and Ghordi.

On the second day, Morning session was attended by all Headmasters of Zone Jib, Tikri, Udhampur and Majalta and evening session was attended by all Headmasters of Zone Dudu, Chenani and Ramnagar covering all 11 zones of District Udhampur.

The issues regarding E-Library, Annual Day Celebration, Release of Magazine by schools, Creation of ID’s on SPARROW Portal, Rationalization of Teaching Staff within Complex/Cluster, Data uploading on ARMS Portal, Deliverables, Beams, Budget, Zero Balance of Samagra Bank Accounts, Scholarship, MDM, Social Audit  etc were discussed.  

The Chief Education Officer emphasized on taking concrete steps to improve the quality of education. He urged the school heads to implement the decisions / instructions issued in the meeting and submit an action taken report in this regard to his office within four to five Days positively.
