As a part of Back to Village Phase-IV, Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Pawan Kumar on the second day of phase 2 of B2V4 visited different panchayats of block Doongi.During his visit, the ADDC kickstarted sports activities, attended Gram Sabhas and participated in the pledge ceremony of Unity and vigilance week.
While interacting with the deputed officers and the PRIs there, the ADDC said that the focus of the Back to Village program is to energise panchayats, collect feedback on the delivery of government schemes/programmes and capture specific economic potential.
Highlighting the objective of B2V, the ADDC said that the program involves the people of the district and govt officials in a joint effort to deliver the mission of equitable development across all our rural areas besides mobilizing public opinion on different issues at different levels.
He also underlined scores of measures being taken by the government to provide government services at the doorsteps of the general public.The ADDC also said that the UT govt is making persistent efforts to make all the basic necessities available at the doorsteps of the common masses to ensure that they don't have to worry for their day to day needs and several initiatives are being taken in this regard.
He also highlighted the Govt schemes and programs and urged upon visiting officers, the PRIs and field functionaries of different departments to educate and motivate the public to avail the benefits of the same.
