Scouts and guides Cell, Government Degree College Neeli Nallah Udhampur today organised a lecture under the aegis of “Atam Nirbhar Bharat ” on the theme “Importance of Scouts and guides in career Development on the College Campus.

The programme was organised under the guidance of Prof. Hans Raj, Principal of the College. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal urged the students to join Bharat scouts and guides to become self-dependent in their life. 

He said that the motive of such programmes was to make students and general masses aware about the importance of scouts and guides.Veena Sharma, speaker of the event, initiated her lecture, with a detailed introduction to the theme Pravesh and Pratham Training for scouts and guides. 

She motivated the students to join scouts and guides for creating job opportunities in this field. The students participated with enthusiasm and learned about scouts and guides. Principal of the college also congratulated the organising committee for organising such important programmes.

Prof. Shaista Yasmeen was the convenor of the programme, while Prof. Swati Dutt, Dr.Ranjeeta langeh were the members of organising committee. Dr. Imtyaz Bhatti, Parul Chibber, Riya  Bajral also attended the programme.

The whole event was anchored by Heena Akhtar and  Vaishali Sharma  students of Semester- I.
