Deputy Director (DD) School Education Department, Civil Secretariat, Ravinder Singh today visited Ramban district in connection with Jan Abhiyaan prior to B2V4.The DD participated in Parents Teacher Meets (PTM) held at Government High School Batote and Government Middle School Batote to develop better coordination and understanding between parents and teachers. 

He encouraged the parents and teachers to work together in order to uplift the students' learning outcomes and achieve better results.Chief Education Officer Ramban was also present on the occasion.The DD shared various practical and psychological techniques and the latest research in the related field to resolve the various problems occurring in the current time.

The DD also interacted with parents and teachers and asked to discuss the issues and problems related to children in a friendly manner and in the local simple language with the parents. He also elaborated on various socio-psychological aspects of the children and parents and stressed chalking out different possibilities and solutions.

During the interactional programme the officer encouraged the students and parents to share the various problems faced by them. Later, the officer issued directions to the heads of schools and the teachers to be easily available for the parents and design coherent mechanisms like school websites, school dashboards etc.
