As part of Jan Abhiyan programme, the Handicrafts Department Bandipora today organised an awareness cum on-spot registration camp at Kawpora, Shadipora. On the occasion artisans  were invited to generate awareness regarding the various financial subvention schemes of the department. 

The camp was attended by Handicrafts Training Officer Sumbal, Auditor INDUSCOS  and Khalida Begum Sarpanch Shadipora besides the women artisans of the subdivision. During the Camp, artisan folk was given brief awareness of the schemes available with the Department of Handicrafts & Handloom. 

45 artisans were registered onspot and 21 number of Artisan Registration Cards were distributed  among the artisans.
