Director, Rural Development Department (RDD), Jammu Mohammad Mumtaz Ali today visited Panchayat Dhalwas of block Batote and Panchyat Seri of block Ramban under Jan Abhiyan of Back to Village programme.
During the visit, the Director discussed the progress on deliverables indicators issued by GAD besides interacting with PRIS and the general public of various panchayats of the areas.Interacting with the officers, the Director stressed intensifying progress on developmental projects besides conducting all activities prescribed under Jan Abhiyan by involving PRIs to ensure utmost transparency in the panchayats.
He also inspected various works completed during previous Back-to-Village phases.The Director was accompanied by ACD Ramban, Ashok Singh Katoch, BDO Batote, BDO Ramban and various officials of the panchayat.
