Director Rural Development Department Jammu, Mohammad Mumtaz Ali, on first day of his visit to the Kishtwar  district, toured the Panchayat Dool A  in Nagseni  Block and took stock of the developmental activities, achievements under Deliverables, besides listened to the issues of general public.

He was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Panchayats, Zakir Hussain Wani, Assistant Commissioner Development, Atul Dutt Sharma, BDO Nagseni, Anjil Singh and other officials of the Department.The tour was conducted by the Director as a part of Jan Abhyan which is a prelude to Back to Village phase-4.

During the tour, he reviewed the working of the Department at Panchayat Level and inspected the works executed under different schemes, besides assessing the progress of the deliverables assigned to the RDD.

Interacting with the general public and PRIs, the Director informed them that the Back to Village program is a great opportunity for people living in the far off hilly areas to project their aspirations regarding development directly to the government.

He urged people to ensure maximum participation in ongoing Jan Abhiyan and upcoming B2V4.Earlier, in the morning, the Director held a review meeting in the Conference Hall DC office complex where he reviewed the key indicators of the RDD and directed all the BDOs to ensure the achievement of targets by mobilizing the field functionaries.

He directed the RDD officials to achieve all the Deliverables well in time without any failure.The programmes were also attended by the Block level officers and other sectoral officers of various departments, Sarpanches ,Panches and locals.
