Medical Camp, Screening of Children held at GMS Kandni

A Medical cum Screening camp was today held at Government Middle School (GMS) Kandni of Zone Drabshalla by Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakarm (RBSK) team of health Block Kishtwar.The school children were screened by RBSK team under the guidance and supervision of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Kishtwar, Dr Sat Lal Manhas,The screening detected some cases of 4Ds, which were referred to the District Early Intervention Center (DEIC) at District Hospital Kishtwar for further follow up.

Besides, awareness about health and hygiene was imparted to the students by Dr Nazir Hussain, Medical Officer. Free medicines were also provided to the needy children. Dr Nazir Hussain, Medical Officer, said it was a routine work/Check up of children conducted by the RBSK team.
