Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects worth about Rs 240 crore in Seraj vidhan sabha area of Mandi district today. Chief Minister after dedicating the Mini Secretariat building at Thunag said that the credit of this unprecedented development in Seraj area goes to the people of Seraj, who have provided wholehearted support and cooperation to him. 

He said that as many as 59 developmental projects have been dedicated to the people of Seraj today worth Rs 240 crore.He said that the Rs. 29.42 crore Mini Secretariat building at Thunag was one of the most beautiful buildings of the region and would facilitate the people of the area as all the offices of the area would be housed under one roof.

Jai Ram Thakur said that Rs. 121crore augmentation  of various Water Supply Scheme under 19 Gram Panchayats of Seraj Block and Balichowki in Tehsil Thunag, was also one of the biggest water supply scheme which would provide drinking water facilities to over 19 panchayats of the area. 

He urged the people of the area for their all-out support to the State government so that the pace of development goes uninterrupted. He announced upgradation of PHC Chattri to CHC to facilitate the people of the area. 

Chief Minister inaugurated of Rs. 121crore augmentation  of various Water Supply Scheme under 19 Gram Panchayats of Seraj Block and Balichowki, Rs. 16.29 crore augmentation of various Water Supply Scheme under Gram Panchayat Chhatri, Baryogi, Kakradhar and Bung Rail Chowk, Rs. 18.96 crore augmentation  of various Water Supply Scheme under Gram Panchayat Bagrathach, Jhared, Gattu and Chhatri, Rs. 2.13 crore Construction of Lift Irrigation Scheme Pakhrair, Rs. 1.37 crore  Inspection Hut of JSV at Bhatkidhar, Government Middle Schools Ropa, Ruhmani, Kandi-Tilli and Gattu-Galoo, Government Primary Schools  Bekar and Jainshala, 

He also inaugurated upgraded 50 bedded Community Health Centre building at Thunag, Rs. 29.42 crore Mini Secretariat building at Thunag, Rs. 2.73 crore GSSS building at Shikawari,  Rs. 3.55 crore GSSS building at Mehridhar, Rs. 3.83  crore GSSS building at Baryogi, Rs. 4.03 crore Sub Tehsil building at Chhatri, BEEO Office Bagsaid, Rs. 24 lakh School building of Government Middle School Keyoli, Rs. 55 lakh Junior Engineer Office cum Residence at Kelodhar, Rs. 52 lakh Junior Engineer Office cum Residence at Chhatri, Rs. 2.73 crore additional accommodation at GSSS Bhatkidhar, Additional Rs. 4.71 crore accommodation at GSSS Nihari Sunah, Rs. 1.10 crore Bridge over Suketi Khad on Kohalugad Rutatan road, Rs. 1.15 crore Road from Jognidhar to Bhalidhar, Rs. 6.45 crore Thunag Lambasafar Chilamgad, Rs. 2.16 crore Thunag Banyad Medhelu Gram Panchayat Bahalidhar road, Rs. 4.41 crore Rural Livelihood Centre Academic building at Bagsiad and many other developmental projects worth crores of rupees. He also laid the foundation stone of many projects.

Chief Minister also honoured Engineer Rajesh Suman and Engineer Bharat Kapoor, Balbir and Chief Architect Nand Lal Chandel on the occasion for constructing developmental projects in record time.

Pradhan Gram Panchayat Thunag Dhaneshwar Singh thanked the Chief Minister for ensuring unparallel development of State and Seraj constituency in general and Thunag area in particular. 

Chairperson of State Hospital Red Cross Welfare Society Dr. Sadhna Thakur, Member BJP State Executive Pitamber,  Member Zila Parishad Khem Dasi, Deputy Commissioner Mandi Arindam Chaudhary,  SP Shalini Agnihotri were present on the occasion among others.
