Indian Army on Thursday organised an awareness-cum-medical camp for Aspirants of Agneepath Scheme here at Kharpura Helipad Ground, Banihal of Ramban district.The event commenced with an awareness lecture on health and sensitisation of the Awam, targeting the opinion makers and students followed by a medical check up camp organized by the Indian Army Medical Officer for conducting the pre-medical examination of the candidates aspiring to be enrolled as an Agniveer.

During the event, Haseeb Ahmed, a Medical rep, and Mohammad Irfan Bohroo an Engineer at Lamber Toll Plaza inspired the local youths.All of them shared their outstanding journey of struggle, never give up attitude, and dedication along with a mention of support extended by the Indian Army during this phase in shaping their future which served as a source of motivation for the local youths.

Around 100 locals attended the medical awareness campaign and 150 numbers of youths attended the medical camp for Agnipath Scheme.The response & participation during the event reflected the strong bond between the Indian Army & Awam. 

The Nobel initiative by the Army for empowering youths to become future Agniveers was very well received and appreciated by the locals.
