Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, culture and languages Rajouri, on the pattern of different Programs of JKAACL being held across J&K under the aegis of Nasha Mukt JK Abhiyaan, presented a  theme based street play (Nukkad Natak) here at old Bus stand Rajouri.

The street Play was presented to educate the society in general and youth in particular about the disastrous consequences of drug abuse and encourage them to come forward to eradicate the menace  from the society with the slogan-SAY NO TO DRUGS.

The event was conducted under the supervision of Secretary JKAACL, Bharat Singh, while Additional Secretary JKAACL, Sanjeev Rana  closely monitored the event.Hundreds of Locals, Senior Citizens, Students and youth witnessed the play with great enthusiasm. Artists who presented Nukkad Natak on the theme received a lot of applause from the audience.

Rung Manch Theatre group, under the direction of group leader Vishal Sharma Pahari , presented  the Nukkad Natak on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan as Nasha Mukt JK UT Abhiyaan.A large number of local youth, civil society members, besides Sanjay Sharma ward councillor witnessed the event and appreciated the efforts of Cultural Academy for the noble case.

The event was coordinated by Dr Alamdar Adam, SOCA Rajouri and his team members Amjad Khan, Rashid Hussian and Shakil Ahmed.
