The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired a meeting to discuss the physical and financial progress achieved on various ongoing developmental projects in the district.During the meeting, the DC reviewed the physical and financial progress on the projects that are under the execution of various departments like KPDCL, Education, R&B, Jal Shakti, RDD and others.

He sought details from the concerned departments and executing agencies regarding the progress achieved on projects and threadbare discussion was also held regarding the delay in completion of various projects for which the timelines were fixed.

The DC stressed upon the concerned agencies to monitor the execution of ongoing works in the district by way of frequent field visits and exhorted the concerned officers to identify the bottlenecks, if any and bring them into the notice of District Administration so that they are sorted out as early as possible.

Meanwhile, the DC also reviewed the status of implementation of various beneficiary oriented schemes in the district and directed all the departments to start vigorous awareness campaigns regarding the beneficiary oriented schemes and self-employment generation programmes so that deserving beneficiaries are benefited.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani;  CPO, Irfan Giri; ACD, ACR, SE KPDCL, SE R&B, Executive Engineers of various wings and other district Officers.
