A delegation of Shimla Rural Assembly constituency under the leadership of BJP District President Ravi Mehta called on Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur at Oak Over Shimla today and expressed gratitude for opening the office of Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) at Sunni.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that this office had been opened for the convenience of the people of the area. He said that The Block Development Office had already started functioning smoothly in the area. 

The Chief Minister assured the delegation that all the developmental works of the area would also be expedited in future. He said that the State Government had always given priority to ensure the continuous development in every sector and every region of Himachal Pradesh. 

Due to good governance and the effective implementation of welfare schemes Himachal had emerged as a model state across the country, the Chief Minister said.Jai Ram Thakur said that the State Government had made strenuous efforts to fulfill the aspirations of the people. 

He said that the demand of the people to upgrade the Community Health Center Dhami to Civil Hospital would be considered sympathetically.District BJP in-charge Daisy Thakur, Vice President of Saksham Gudiya Board Rupa Sharma, BJP Mandal President Dinesh Thakur, BJP leader Pramod Sharma, office bearers of the organization, representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
