The main function of Teachers Day of District Udhampur was celebrated at Saheed Inspector Kamal Singh Higher Secondary School Boys Udhampur.Joint Director School Education Udhampur-Reasi, Dhirendra Sharma was the chief guest while Chief Education Officer, Udhampur Arvin Kumar Koul was the guest of honour on the occasion. In the function, one best teacher from each zone was felicitated in view of their valuable contribution towards imparting quality education in their respective zones. Their screening was done by a zonal level committee.
The Teachers felicitated on the occasion were Shashi Kumar from Babey Zone; Dr. Goldy Salathia from Chenani Zone; Shabir Hussain from Dudu Zone; Vijay Kumar from Ghordi Zone; Sarita Sharma from Jib Zone; Janak Raj from Kulwanta zone; Tirath Ram from Majalta zone; Sukhdev Kumar from Panchari zone; Raj Kumar from Ramnagar Zone; Mohammad Mustaffa from Tikri Zone and Rinku Khanna from Udhampur Zone. They were presented with certificates and trophies.
Zonal Incharge cultural Cell (ZICC) of the zones were appreciated by the Joint Director and Chief Education officer for putting in best efforts for promotion of cultural activities in the schools as per the directions of the higher authorities from time to time and also towards Kala Utsav.
Hushyiar Singh from Babey Zone; Jagdish Chander Sharma from Chenani Zone; Subash Brahmanu from Dudu Zone; Devender Thakur from Ghordi Zone; Jyoti from Jib Zone; Daleep Singh from Kulwanta Zone; Dinesh Sharma from Majalta Zone; Anchal Singh from Panchari Zone; Sanjeev Kumar from Ramnagar Zone; Rohit Magotra from Tikri Zone and Rinku Khanna from Udhampur zone were felicitated for their work.
Staff of HSS Girls Udhampur was awarded with a trophy for their presentation of Saraswati Vandana and Welcome song prepared by Dr. Sunita Sharma and Anjana Khajuria. Pawan Kumar, NCC Incharge was also felicitated for his services in grooming NCC cadets.Students of HSS Boys Udhampur presented a variety cultural show. Rakesh Singh, DICC and Dr. Jia Lal, coordinated the programme.
