After conclusion of Block Diwas programme at Wadipora, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir visited Primary Health Centre Wadipora, Government Higher Secondary School Wadipora and Middle School Wadipora to know the issues there.

During the inspection of PHC Wadipora, the ADC heard several grievances from PRIs which include erection of snow breakers at PHC so as to ensure hassle free movement of patients to the health facility during winters and deployment of Dentist and additional doctors to the PHC.

The PRIs also demanded completion of an under construction building of Higher Secondary School Wadipora, besides, proper fencing of HSS and Middle School was also raised.The ADC gave a patient hearing to them and assured that he will take up the same issues with the concerned departments for their redressal.The ADC was accompanied by Tehsildar Handwara and PRIs.
