In connection with 'Har Ghar Tiranga' initiative under the aegis of 'Azadi ka Amrit  Mahotsav', the Cultural Education Wing of Chief Education Office (CEO) Shopian  today organised different activities in the district.

Students of various  schools from different parts of the district participated in the event and marched through the streets of towns and villages holding Tricolour and  chanting slogans of 'Har ghar Trianga'. Education Department Shopian is organising various activities in its schools across the district to inculcate the virtue of patriotism amongst students.

Today as well, many district level, block level and school level functions regarding Har Ghar Tiranga campaign were conducted with witnessed enthusiastic participation.Chief Education Officer Shopian in his address highlighted the importance of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahaotsav' with regard to 75th year of Independence. 

He impressed upon all the participants to make the celebrations successful and take part in the coming events in connection with 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahaotsav'.The participating students and their escort teachers took keen interest to make the events successful.Vote of thanks was presented by Sajad Ahmad Bhat I/C CEW Chief Education office Shopian at the mega function at district level.
