Weekly Block Diwas meeting was held in block Ramban to resolve grievances, especially basic issues of the general public at their doorsteps.Chief Horticulture Officer, Anil Gorka, DSHO, Vikas Gupta, DAHO, Dr. Bharat Bhushan, BDO, Ramban, Muneer Chowdhury, Lead District Manager, Rashid Sofi, ARTO, Samrinder Singh, PRIs and various other senior attended the meeting.
During the meeting, a detailed review of the implementation of decisions taken in the last meeting and directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban was held.Highlighting the steps taken by the departments to resolve issues of the general public, the officers sensitized the PRIs and general people about the different beneficiary and job-oriented schemes.
The officers impressed upon the PRIs to encourage the youth to take advantage of schemes being implemented by different departments under Mission Youth & KVIC in the district. The officers resolved most of the issues on the spot which pertained to their respective departments and assured their other genuine issues would be resolved on a priority basis.
