ADC Handwara visits polling stations; inspects schools in far-off areas

The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir along with Tehsildar Zachildara/ Handwara  today visited  far-flung  areas of Zachildara including Satkoji, Dardhaji, Behnipora and inspected various Schools, where suggestions are available for creation of new polling stations.

The ADC reviewed availability of  facilities including  water and power supply,  ramps and road connectivity in these schools. He also visited various other schools which are used as polling stations during elections.

During the tour it was given out that the  suggestions regarding  creation of new polling stations were put forth by the members of political parties recently during a meeting.The ADC, during the tour also inspected various Educational and Health Institutions including UPS Dardhaji, Middle School Satkoji, Higher Secondary Behnipora and High School Rajpora and Checked the attendance of the staff.He interacted with teachers and staff of these institutions and stressed upon them to work with added dedication and honesty.
