DDC Rajouri reviews implementation of home stay scheme under Tourist village network initiative

District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the implementation of home-stay scheme under tourist village network initiative of Mission Youth in the district.

During the meeting, the AD Tourism, Ambika Bali said that 7 villages of Qila Darhal, Kandi, DKG, Shadra Sharif, Panjnara, Plungher and Lah have been taken up under the scheme in the district.The DDC said that the home-stay trend was gaining both ground and momentum across the globe and was making huge strides as a source of economic up-liftment and empowerment for the people.

DDC also asked the concerned officers to make sincere efforts to remove hindrances faced by the youth in availing benefits under the scheme by coordinating and guiding them wherever required and extending personal intervention for their proper hand-holding.

Officers who attended the meeting included  CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; ACP, Abdul Rashid Kohli; CAO, Sohan Singh; CHO, Madan Lal; AD Tourism, Ambika Bali; AD Planning, Mohd Rafi and other concerned officers.
