Yatra for Shri Mindal Sthan at Kishtwar was flagged off formally from Udhampur by DDC Vice Chairperson, Juhi Manhas Pathania amidst fervent slogans and devotional fervour. SSP Udhampur, Vinod Kumar as well as other senior officers of administration also remained present at the occasion.
While briefing the media persons, she said the yatra has resumed after subsequent disruption for two years due to Covid pandemic, due to the efforts of local management committee. While addressing a virtual sea of devotees at Udhampur, Ms Pathania said that the yatra reflects incessant faith of people.
Retd SSP, Prithviraj Sharma, who is President of the management committee also thanked local administration for their support. The yatra starts from district Reasi and passing through districts Udhampur, Ramban and Doda, it culminates at Mindal in Kishtwar.
Those who were present on the occasion included BDC Chairperson, Nisha Sharma; Sarpanchs, Arti Sharma, Vinod Sharma, Manmohan Raina, Subash Sharma and other prominent citizens.
