DC Rajouri flags off ambulances to tribal areas

Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal flagged off 5 ambulances to tribal areas for facilitating local patients today. Chief Medical Officer, Dr Abdul Hamid Zarger was also present at the flag off. 

The Deputy Commissioner said that the ambulances would further improve healthcare services by facilitating timely evacuation of patients from tribal areas in case of medical emergency and help save precious lives.

The Ambulances have been purchased under tribal sub scheme to strengthen the patient care services in the tribal areas.The Chief Medical Officer has informed that these ambulances would be stationed at Sub Centres Najeri Jamola, Rehan, Kotedhera, NTPHC Mohra Draj and Marutha.
