Dr Nayan Jassal, PCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner , Phagwara today advocates for the  financial independence of women for real women empowerment.She was addressing the youth during a counseling and registration camp organized by District Bureau of Employment and Entreprises,at the Old Town Employment Office at Improvement Trust , Hargobind Nagar, Phagwara.

During the Camp she encouraged all the female candidates to become bread earners, as financial independence is the first step towards true Women empowerment.Mr Jeevandeep Singh , EGSDTO , PCS (Allied) and Dr Varun Joshi , Placement Officer, briefed the registered candidates on Mission Khaki, and guided them on how to tackle the upcoming government job exams.

Mission Khaki - Kar Har Maidan Fateh , is a novel initiative of District Administration, Kapurthala , whose aim is to ensure maximum selection of aspirants to the posts of constable and head constable in Punjab Police.

Dr Nayan Jassal also handed over Identity cum Registration Cards for Mission Khaki to aspirants and encouraged them to be the best versions of themselves.Further, It is important to mention that for easier accessibility and better facilitation of candidates from Phagwara, the Old Town Employment  Office will be activated on every Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, at Improvement Trust Building, Hargobind Nagar, Phagwara.

The candidates are requested to kindly make note of the same and avail all the services of District Bureau of Employment and Exchange from this premises. In attendance at the camp Sukhwinder Singh, President, Sarb Naujawan Sabha, Phagwara.
