There are signs of tension again in Delhi. The stone pelting incident has once again come to the fore in Jahangirpuri. It is reported that many people from one side gathered in I-Block and vandalised there fiercely. CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced which delivers the panicked atmosphere spread over there. At the same time, the DCP has denied the communal developments. In view of the tension, police teams have been deployed in the area. In this case, the police have also taken some people into custody.

Police cracking down the stone pelters:

Patrolling operations being actively on the floor & police officer has explained that PCR had received information in the night that vandalism and stone pelting was taking place in the area. Investigation revealed that a boy named Zaheer along with some of his friends had come to Eye Block in search of Sameer and Shoaib. He was reportedly drunk and when he could not find anyone, he threw stones, in which the windows of three vehicles were damaged.

The accused were taken into custody: DCP North West Usha Rangnani

Police have arrested two accused. DCP North West Usha Rangnani said that the police got information about stone pelting at around 11 pm last night. In this case, two accused residents of Jahangirpuri have been taken into custody. He said that the rest of the accused would also be caught soon.

Case of stone pelting on the procession:

Let us tell you that in April also there was a violent incident in Jahangirpuri. On April 16, on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, some people were taking out a procession. During this some mischievous people pelted stones on the procession. Violence erupted in Jahangirpuri after the stone pelting incident. In this incident 9 people including 8 policemen were injured.

50 rioters already in custody:

In this case, the Union Home Ministry has imposed NSA on 5 accused. On the other hand, after Friday prayers in Kanpur, there was a lot of stone pelting and petrol bombs were also burnt. The Yogi government and police took action and detained around 50 rioters.
