Last year in 2021, many movies, series, comedy specials, and shows like Jamtara, Delhi Crime Season, Kota Factory, Mismatched season, and Little Things, to name a few, were announced. Among the multiple original films that are scheduled to hit the streamer in 2021 is the Panchayat actor Jitendra Kumar's Jaadugar. Jitendra took to his Instagram handle to share the good news with fans and expressed his excitement about the same.
The film was planned to be released in 2021, but for some reason, the makers pushed the release date. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan actor Jitendra Kumar is all set to make his Netflix debut with Jaadugar. Arushi Sharma and versatile actor-comedian, Javed Jaaferi, will also be seen alongside everyone’s favourite Jeetu bhaiya.
Speaking of the updates, the movie will see Jitendra as a magician, and the announcement video looks extremely intriguing. Jaadugar is scheduled to stream on Netflix on 15 July. In discussing the film, a small-town magician with zero interest in football must lead his local team to the finals of a tournament if he wishes to marry the love of his life.
The writer of the film once revealed that, unlike sports films that revere elite athletes, Jaadugar celebrates everyday individuals who play sports, not for pride or fame, but only for the love of the game. Coming to the credits, the drama film is directed by Sameer Saxena, who has also helmed TVF's Permanent Roommates, Tripling, and Yeh Meri Family. The screenplay of Jaadugar is documented by Biswapati Sarkar, who was also an essential member of the TVF team. The upcoming Netflix film is produced under the banner of Posham Pa Pictures.
