Neetu Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles and is all set to hit the big screens on 24 June 2022. The upcoming film which has been helmed by Raj Mehta is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Now, after the poster, the makers have released the trailer of the film and as expected the trailer gives high hopes for the movie. To note,
Jug Jugg Jeeyo will mark Kiara’s first collaboration with Varun. Jugjugg Jeeyo is slated to release on June 24 this year.
Anil Kapoor essays the role of a self-obsessed man, Bheem; Neetu Kapoor plays Geeta, who always hopes for her family's happiness. Varun portrays the character of a Punjabi boy Kukku who loves to spend time with his friends. Kiara Advani embarks on the role of Naina, who is here to steal our hearts, Maniesh Paul portrays the role of Gurpreet, whereas Prajakta Koli plays Varun's younger sister Ginni. Now, speaking of the trailer, Varun and Kiara play a couple seeking a divorce from one another in the trailer. However, due to a family wedding, the two decide to keep their decision a secret for a while. In the midst of it all, Varun was taken aback when he learned that his father (Anil Kapoor) is preparing to divorce his mother (Neetu Kapoor). Why? Because he is in love with another woman (Tisca Chopra).
The story that follows is full of shocks, twists, amusement, and pleasure. Further. The trailer of Jugjugg Jeeyo looks entertaining and has a dose of laughter. While dialogues sound funny and catchy, what also is likely to make this movie a hit is the individual efforts of all the actors. Further, the shoot had gone on floors in Patiala, Punjab. However, sharing the trailer on YouTube, the synopsis read, "Jugjugg Jeeyo is a story set in the heart of Patiala and much like the city, it's full of love and laughter, colour and drama. It's about family and its values, unresolved yearnings, and unexpected reconciliations."
