Mountaineering Associate of Jammu and Kashmir organized 3rd UT Sport Climbing Championship at Sprawling Buds School Climbing Wall in Jammu. Several hundred participants from different districts across Jammu and Kashmir participated in the championship. In the championship Sheikh Hafsa Ibrahim of Valen Teens School Ratnipora secured 3rd Position in Sub Junior Girls, Rutba Jan Govt. UPS Galbugh secured First Position in Mini Girls catagory.

Mir Sibgat Ullah of Valen Teens School Ratnipora secured 3rd position in Sub Junior Boys catagory, Wajid Ahmad of Govt. Higher Secondary School Ratnipora secured 3rd Position in Senior Mens catagory while s Amir Khan from Pulwama secured 2nd Position in senior mens.The climbers are trained by Sunridges Trekking and Mountaineering Club Ratnipora Pulwama which is one of the oldest adventure clubs of Kashmir valley. 

The club aims to promotes adventure sports in rural areas of south Kashmir.The coach and team manager Syed Abdul Mohsin Andrabi and Syed Aqeel Ul Islam appreciated the hard work of the players during the competition.Senior Mountaineer of South Kashmir Jameel Mustafa congratulated the players and management for their success in the competition.
