Bollywood actor Sohail Khan and his wife designer Seema Khan were spotted outside a family court in Mumbai on 13 May. The former couple filed for divorce after 24 years of marriage. Seema and Sohail had been living separately for years, and that is something we spotted in Seema's hit show, The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives too. In fact, if you go back to the
Netflix show, you'd remember how Seema had revealed that she and Sohail 'aren’t in a conventional marriage'.
Talking about her relationship with Sohail in one of the sequences on the show, Seema had said, "It's just that sometimes when you grow older, your relationships meanders and goes into different directions. I make no apologies about it because we are happy and my kids are happy. Sohail and I are not a conventional marriage but we are a family. We are a unit. For us, him and me and our children matter at the end of the day."
Meanwhile, Nirvaan and Yohan Khan are the sons of Seema and Sohail Khan. However, the ex-couple will continue to co-parent their sons. Seema said on the same broadcast that she loves Sohail and will always adore him. She said, “We have the most amazing family. Sohail is the most amazing father. He has been amazing since my kids were born. I love him, and I always will. We have a great relationship.”
