In a marathon meeting for successful conduct of Mega Health Camp to commence from 11th of this month, the Deputty Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today visited Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla and held a detailed and extensive meeting with Medicos to finalize the arrangements and mobilize men and machinery for entire process. The mega health camp is important public service of LG administration scheduled to commence from 11th May to 18th May and is intended to cater various health services besides more than one thousand different  surgeries and other services are to be provided during this camp.While taking a comprehensive review of the functioning of Government Medical College Baramulla, the DC was informed about services being provided to the patients.

On the occasion, the DC stressed for providing qualitative services to the patients and issued strict directions to the concerned authorities in this regard. She emphasized for facilitating essential medicines in health institution so that patients may not suffer. Directing the concerned authorities to act in an efficient manner, the DC stressed for remaining vigilant and said that any kind of laxity on this account will not be tolerated. Meanwhile,  DC chaired a meeting with medicos and impressed upon them to gear up for better heath care services in the upcoming Mega Health camp. She emphasized to keep men and machinery in place to make the mega health camp a successful event.
