Aamir Khan’s highly anticipated film Laal Singh Chaddha which is scheduled to release on 11 August 2022 has recently released its first song. The title of the song is ‘Kahani’ has been composed by Pritam, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The newly released song Kahani has been crooned by Mohan Kannan and is a soulful and harmonious tune. Furthermore, Aamir has not released the video of the song yet. The objective behind this is to put the musicians and the music of the film at the forefront, as the team explained.
In a statement, Aamir Khan said, he truly believes that the songs in Laal Singh Chaddha are the soul of the film and this album has some of his career’s best songs. It was a very intentional decision to put Pritam, Amitabh, the singers, and technicians in the spotlight because not only do they deserve to be centre stage but also the music deserves its due credit. He can’t wait to see how audiences react to the music that the team has poured their heart and soul into.
The upcoming film features Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Naga Chaitanya. It will mark a Bollywood debut for Naga. The film has been helmed by Advait Chandan and bankrolled by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures. It has also been reported that the film is a Hindi remake of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name.
