Kashmir’s first and only 24*7 Tv News Channel has become first Srinagar based TV channel to telecast transmission of Taraweeh this holy month Ramadhan live from the revered shrine of Dargah Sharif Hazratbal.The Taraweeh is telecasted every day at 8:30 pm and will run throughout the holy month live from this revered shrine.The live transmission of Tv is also being transmitted on its official social media pages to make it easier for public to watch it as per their convenience.Post abrogation of Article 370, local electronic media has touched new heights in Kashmir which otherwise remained under censorship in the erstwhile state of J&K. “We are happy to see our local electronic media growing and being watched at national level.
Recently, its portions of interviews, live debates and current affair programmes were also run by various national channels. It is a positive development that in Kashmir we are creating a content that gets attention of nation,” said a group of Mass Communication students at Kashmir University. ANN News is also first Kashmir based Tv channel available on JIO Set Top box, channel number 1114, throughout the country.The recent live TV debates, interviews and other current affair programmes have become talk of the town in Kashmir besides getting attention of national electronic and print media.
