SAD sub-committee holds meetings at Fatehgarh Sahib and Amloh to take feedback from grass root workers

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) sub-committee led by senior leader Iqbal Singh Jhoonda today held meetings in this district to take feedback on the reasons for the party’s debacle in the recent assembly elections as well as suggest ways and means to rejuvenate the party.The sub-committee, which has been holding meetings in various districts, met senior party leaders and workers of Fatehgarh Sahib and Amloh separately.Giving details, Mr Jhoonda said “the sub-committee has been tasked with preparing a ground report based on direct feedback collected from grass root party leaders and workers. 

It is with this in mind that the sub-committee held two meetings as Fatehgarh Sahib and Amloh. Free and frank discussions were held and party workers pin-pointed various facets which need to be re-looked. The entire discussion was held as per panthic traditions with the grass root workers stressing on the need to strengthen panthic sentiments amongst the people”.Mr Jhoonda said the sub-committee was trying to level best to collate all necessary suggestions received from the party cadre and that the same would be submitted to the sixteen member Committee which has been formed by party President Sukhbir Singh Badal go into the party debacle and as well suggest the best way forward.
