A special meeting was convened by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Piyush Singla regarding status of sanctioned degree college at Chattisinghpora, here.The meeting was attended by the representatives from Revenue Department, Custodian of Lands, GDC Khanabal and GDC Chattisinghpora.A thorough deliberation regarding the issue of land acquisition for the said college was held and it was informed that a patch of land has been identified for the construction of the college.
After discussing the issue at length with all parties, the DC directed the college authorities to proceed ahead with formal acquisition of the identified piece of land. Tehsildar Mattan informed the chair that the land has been earmarked and the implementing agency was directed to initiate the construction process without further delay.The meeting was attended by ACR, Tehsildar Mattan, Principal GDC Khanabal among others.
