Deputy Chief Minister OP Soni today said that the landmark decisions of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi led state government would further pave the way for second term of congress government in Punjab. Accompained by state Congress Incharge Harish Chaudhry, Cabinet Minister Pargat Singh, MP Chaudhry Santokh Singh, Chairman Punjab Technical Education Board Mohinder Singh Kaypee, MLAs Sushil Rinku, Avtar Heney Junior, Rajinder Beri, Hardev Singh Laddi Sherowalia,  the Deputy CM while addressing workers' meet at local congress bhawan said that under the leadership of CM Channi Punjab government has delivered on its promises  including providing cheapest power in the country, waiving off pending electricity bills & water bills, giving ownership rights to land owners having properties under Lal Lakir and many more. 

He further added that over 90 percent poll promises have already been fulfilled by congress government whereas concerted efforts were being made to deliver on the remaining. Mr. Soni said that the decisions of Channi government have infused a new confidence among workers which would eventually strengthen the party in the state. He catagorically mentioned that there was no paucity of funds to carry out development works as all the major demands for funds was already fulfilled by the government, now MLAs should ensure timely completion of works in their respective constituencies. He stated that Channi government has been reaching out to each and every segment and making all out efforts to resolve them in the right earnest. Earlier all the leaders welcomed incharge Harish Chaudhry at congress bhawan. Meanwhile, party leaders paid floral tributes of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary.
