Punjab Social Justice, Empowerment & Minorities and Medical Education & Research Minister Raj Kumar Verka today announced that the Punjab Government would soon regularise the services of nearly 10,000 safai sewaks in the state as the process had already been initiated. After assuming the charge as Cabinet Minister, Dr. Raj Kumar Verka, who reached on Wednesday evening reached here at Circuit House, lashed out at Uttar Pradesh Government for throttling country’s democracy with ‘Talibani attack’ on farmers protesting peacefully. There is no rule of law in Uttar Pradesh especially the democratic setup has been turned into dictatorship since the BJP doesn’t believe in democracy, he added.Strongly condemning the attack on farmers at Lakhimpur Kheri, the Minister said that the attack was committed at the behest of UP’s Talibani Government as earlier the protests were shattered but now the UP Government started running over vehicles on farmers.
