Continuing its programme of Clean India, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYS&S) Ganderbal in collaboration with Zonal Physical Education Office Ganderbal today organized cleanliness and awareness program at Tawheed Abad Duderhama (Jamia Masjid) and Duderhama chowk, Ganderbal.During the drive, all the field as well as office staff of Zone Ganderbal collected around 12 kg of polythene/plastic and other waste material which was later handed over to Municipal Council Ganderbal for its safe disposal.The District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Sheikh Shafkat lqbal and Zonal Physical Education Officer, Ravinder Kour along with the departmental officials organised an awareness program through the main market Duderhama regarding the ill effects of polythene/plastic in the environment.
