As part of the Central Government’s public outreach programme, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar today visited PHC Mattan, Anantnag to review facilities available in the hospital. She was briefed about the implementation of various health related schemes and also availability of testing facilities for the patients.The Minister also interacted with GMC students and assured redressal of their demands at the earliest.On the occasion, Dr Bharati said that Central Government is committed to provide better healthcare facilities to the general public and to fulfill the genuine demands of youths of UT.She stressed for strict adherence to CAB, besides appreciating the team work of health department and COVID warriors in managing COVID patients and ensuring successful vaccination.DDC Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla, Principal GMC Anantnag, various sectoral officers and PRIs accompanied the Minister.
