Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today provided fifteen motorized tricycles to specially-abled persons here at a function held as part of the UT level event chaired by Lieutenant Governor for extending the handholding to the people with special needs.While interacting with the beneficiaries, the DC said that the   LG Administration is taking special care and extending all possible assistance to specially-abled persons for their empowerment."Several specially-abled persons have shown their calibre in different fields and became a source of inspiration for the normal persons and the need of the hour is to recognise their hidden talent by providing them a suitable environment."He said that the motorised Tricycles will empower the people with special needs and enable them to lead a better life.
