DC Ramban Mussarat Islam handovers keys of commercial vehicles to 4 MUMKIN beneficiaries

Deputy Commissioner,Ramban, Mussarat Islam  today handed over keys of 4 subsidized small commercial vehicles to  4 young beneficiaries of the district here under  the youth livelihood programme 'Mumkin'.Chief Planning Officer, Kasturi Lal, Assistant Director, DE&CC, Naresh Kumar and other officers were also present on the occasion.After handing over the keys of vehicles to beneficiaries, the DC said  that the government is on a mission to uplift, mentor and provide sustainable livelihood to the youth of Jammu Kashmir under the “MUMKIN” scheme.While appreciating the efforts made by the District Employment and Counseling Centre (DE&CC), Ramban and other allied departments for linking the eligible candidate with the scheme, the DC asked the youth to take benefit from various other youth oriented schemes being implemented in the district. The DC informed that the MUMKIN scheme is open for all eligible candidates. He said that this process will continue  and very soon another group will be provided their vehicles. He motivated the unemployed youth to avail the benefits of the novel employment schemes of the government to become job providers instead of job seekers.
