On Party's Foundation Day Former Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday said,Youth must away from Gun Culture follow peaceful path of Gandhi.She was Addressing party workers on the occasion of 22nd foundation day of PDP at party headquarters, said, that J&K people preferred to stay with India due to its democratic nature, but whatever was given to the people by India itself has been snatched on 05 August and should be returned.She said her father established this party  (PDP ) People's Democratic Party with an intention to help Kashmiris who were neglected from successive regimes and he never sought votes for personal interest but for People's interest.He (Mufti sahab ) was keen about Kashmir in the field of development and Although during his tenure by constructing Colleges, Universities and roads as well, he always sought votes for the well being of Kashmiris in terms of helping them to come out from the situation they were facing,” she said.Being only Muslim majority state of India Kashmir achieved some special status but unfortunately whatever people of Kashmir faced today wasn’t done by India and its constitution, but by an particular political party.Talking about article 370 she said, we will fight for restoration of Article with in constitution of India. Appealed youth of Jammu and Kashmir She said,stay away from Gun culture.it will harm our cause and Gun is enemy of  humanity you should learn from Mahatma Gandhi.
