The Governor of Haryana Bandaru Dattatreya, held a courtesy call on the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, in New Delhi on Monday and discussed in detail the developmental and public welfare schemes being run in Haryana. This was the first meeting of Governor Shri Dattatreya with the Prime Minister after taking over as the Governor of Haryana.In this meeting, which lasted for about 20 minutes, the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi said that schemes related to agricultural development and farmers' welfare should be extended to every needy person, so that the farmer of the country becomes more financially strong. Emphasizing on the "Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana", he said that the annual financial assistance of Rs.6000 given by the Central Government should reach the small and marginal farmers with complete transparency without any delay. Similarly, referring to the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana’, he expressed that the amount of premium to be paid to the affected farmers under this scheme should reach within a certain period.He said that the state government should ensure that the schemes related to agricultural development and farmers' welfare are implemented on the ground Level. To attract the farmers towards organic farming, maximum publicity should be done among the farmers by encouraging them from the schemes of the Central and State Governments.

Praising the development taking place in Haryana, the Prime Minister said that Haryana state is Atmanirbhar in various fields, yet employment, business, rural development, health services can be developed by exploring the possibilities of more development. So that the state becomes the ideal state of the country.He also said that maximum people in the state should be included in "Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana". Corona patients have also been included in this scheme. He said that under this ambitious scheme free treatment of up to 5 lakh is being given to the patient. This is a revolutionary step in the field of health.Shri Modi said that “e-Swarozgar Portal” and “Pradhan Mantri Swamitva Yojana” have been launched in the country. There are important projects of the government to strengthen the infrastructural facilities in the rural area. These schemes will move towards digitization of Gram Panchayats and increase transparency in the works of Panchayats.He said that Antyodaya Anna Yojana has been started in the country. Under this scheme, a person living below the poverty line in the country will be provided ration for the whole month in less money. Now disabled persons have also been made beneficiary under this scheme. To whom 35 kg ration will be provided every month.Shri Modi said that there are immense possibilities of business and employment in the state due to three more borders of Haryana being adjacent to the national capital. The state government should take maximum advantage of this geographical situation so that the state not only becomes Atmanirbhar in terms of employment and can also provide maximum employment to the youth of other states.He especially congratulated the people of the state for becoming Atmanirbhar and said that the central government is ready for all possible help in the development of the state.
