District Development Commissioner Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan, visited Chnkha today and interacted with the local youth, urging them to actively participate in the development and promotion of the area as a tourism hub. DDC Mahajan reiterated the administration's commitment to promote sustainable development in the region and called upon the youth to play a proactive role in realizing this vision.
He highlighted the potential of Chnkha as a tourist destination and encouraged the youth to explore opportunities for entrepreneurship in the tourism sector. During the visit, DDC Mahajan inspected various mining blocks and directed the concerned authorities to ensure that mining activities are carried out strictly within their demarcated areas, emphasizing on the importance of environmental sustainability. Tehsildar Thakrakote Anil Magotra, team of Mining Department and other concerned officers were present.
