Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) general secretary Mr. Fateh Jung Singh Bajwa today said that SAD-BJP government in Punjab has lost its credibility due to involvement of its ministers in scams and demanded immediate dismissal of Education Minister Sikandar Singh Malooka from the cabinet who embezzled funds meant for buying books for school children.

In a statement here Mr.Bajwa said that that what could be more shameful that a senior minister who is very close to family of Chief Minister Mr.Parkash Singh Badal had not even spared the school children to fulfill his greed of money. He said that earlier animal husbandry minister Mr.Gulzar Singh Ranike was named in scandal involving grants of border area development fund. He said that Aklali ministers were misappropriating grants meant for SC and BC students.

He said that after practical copy and library books scam, now the science kit scam has rocked the education department. He said that education minister had stooped so low to make dirty money that firm selected by him supplied vulgar books which also contained derogatory remarks against national and state leaders.  He deserves no leniency, he added.

Bajwa said that Mr.Malooka should be arrested and the inquiry into the books scam shall be handed over to Central Bureau of Investigation. He warned the Chief Minister against giving clean chit to the corrupt minister. He said that Punjab Congress under the leadership of its president Mr.Partap Singh Bajwa would launch an agitation against all the scams and anti-party policies of SAD-BJP government.

He said that center government was sending funds to states under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan and SAD-BJP government has started bungling in these funds. He said that this matter was linked with the future of school students. He said that due to exposure of scams, the school children would suffer in studies.
