Taking one more step towards effective Governance Deputy Commissioner Barnala, Mr. Tej Partap Singh Phoolka launched the YOJNA Android Mobile App with added features developed for citizens of Barnala.Deputy Commissioner said that this app is developed to provide common citizens information about various benefit oriented schemes provided by various government departments.DC appreciated the efforts of ADC (G) Mr. Aaditya Dachalwal who coordinated with all the departments to seek all the information for this app. He also appreciated the efforts of District Informatics Officer (NIC) Barnala Neeraj Garg and his team who have developed this app in such a short period of time.To make it accessible to each segment of the society this app has been launched in bilingual format i.e. Punjabi as well as English. The app currently contains information about most of the schemes of 17 departments. DC also assured that this app will also be enhanced further and new departments will be added on regular basis.Talking about the technical aspect of the app DIO Neeraj Garg told that this app has currently been launched in Android format only and is available on Google Play Store. To install the app one needs to search YOJNA on Google play store and click on Install Button.
