Punjab School Education and Public Works Minister and MLA from sangrur constituency Vijay Inder Singla today along with Deputy Commissioner Sangrur Mr. Ramvir, SSP Mr. Vivek Sheel Soni and other administrative and police officers visited Jaulian village. Mr. Vijay Inder Singla assured the villagers that besides finding out the truth of the matter, strict legal action would be taken against the culprits. On the spot, the cabinet minister directed the SSP to complete the probe at the earliest and said that if anyone other than the accused woman was involved in the tragic incident, he or she should be arrested and punished It recalled that a woman had set fire to the Sroop of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Palki Sahib and other revered items in the Darbar Sahib of Gurudwara in village Jaulian and after the incident, the woman was arrested.Mr. Vijay Inder Singla said that Shri Guru Granth Sahib is a symbol of universality and people of all religions respect Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.  He said that some mischievous miscreants were committing heinous crimes to divide the society for their personal gain which was aimed at disturbing the peace in Punjab.  He said that he himself was urgently receiving reports from the police department on a daily basis to investigate the matter and directed the police officials to ensure that all the persons involved in the incident should captured as soon as possible.
