The Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Bhupinder Kumar today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the implementation of Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Program Yojana  (AB-PMJAY) and SEHAT health insurance scheme. The meeting also reviewed the status and progress of the registration of beneficiaries under these schemes.On the occasion, various aspects were thoroughly discussed wherein the CEO presented the current status of the registration process. He said that the district has performed efficiently in the process and added that several efforts need to be taken to achieve 100 percent coverage.Meanwhile, DC directed the concerned authorities to scale up the registration process so that desired results are achieved. He emphasized working in coordination and synergy and creating mass awareness about the scheme at the ground level.The DC also stressed upon the health department to work with added zeal and mobilize the available human resource for effective implementation of the scheme.Meeting was attended by Chief Executive Officer Ayushman Bharat Dr Sagar Doifode, Medical superintendent Associated hospital GMC Baramulla, BMOs and other concerned functionaries.
