The District Development  Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla Thursday said that strong road infrastructure is important to enhance the connectivity across the district besides giving convenience to public commuting on these roads. He also directed the officers of PMGSY to fully utilise the current working season and complete the ongoing/pending works in a time bound manner. He also called for greater coordination among the line departments for removing the bottlenecks in larger public interest. He also directed officers of other related departments viz PDD, Jal Shakti, etc to shift the utilities soon so that the targets are achieved in time.Ex.
